Just 6 seasons ago Ray France was riding in the JJ and now he is a GP winner after roaring to victory as a Wild Card in the GB Grand Prix. Ray was just delighted to receive the nomination and was using the meeting as yet another step on the ladder for him. As the meeting progressed you could see his confidence growing and he looked more and more at home amongst the elite stars of the sport. He settled for second place in the semi-final showing his maturity in not going all out to pass Sven Svensson. In the Final he made a dream gate, rode a superb line and took the chequered flag with no trouble. This has really whetted his appetite and in a few weeks he is in the GP challenge semi-final hoping to get to the challenge final where anything can happen. We knew Ray was a star of the future from a young age and have nurtured him through to where he is now. The world is his oyster. Surely he will get a WTC spot this season and has given the England team manager a big nudge.
In a great night for Kings Lynn riders Tibor Nemecek finished third in the GP and stretched his lead at the top of the standings to 17 points. With only 2 rounds to go surely only a disaster is going to stop him being crowned World Champion.
wandsworthrams: Silly question, are we allowed to do coaching yet?
Oct 5, 2018 8:26:31 GMT
leedsjaguars: I think coaching is done when you select your team for matches. It’s a part of the amazing form we use each week

wandsworthrams: I still use the Coaching form!

leedsjaguars: Coaching can be done as part of the excel form, which makes it easier to track too. In my first season I didn’t do all my coaching because I forgot, now the form reminds me.

wandsworthrams: Thanks Daz, I've sent you a text.

bottesfordbullets: Can we still use the weekly excel tactics sheet ?
Oct 11, 2018 20:30:54 GMT
leedsjaguars: I’m assuming not, it would take a lot of work to update for new teams and riders and as it wasn’t widely used last season there seems little point in expending lots of effort

wandsworthrams: Hi, is there anywhere I can find the ages of my Juveniles that are not in this season's Jaunt as I can't find the information on the Database? Thanks

kingslynnlightning: Terry, we decided a couple of seasons back not to give ages to riders not in the JJ so we didn't lose riders without them having a go in the JJ. And so we didn't have to keep finding loads of names. They will be 14 when they start in the JJ.

wandsworthrams: Thanks for that Rob. I asked because I wondered why my Juvenile with the best average wasn't in the Jaunt itself and wondered if it was because of his age!

kingslynnlightning: This anomaly will happen from time to time Terry. Morgan and Ingman were in the JJ last year so stay in this year. However Smith rode really well in the Junior 4TT hence his high average. When he does get into the JJ he will start with a nice high average

leedsjaguars: Does anyone know what we do this season regarding rider coaching, I have no idea now we aren't using the forms anymore. Seniors and Juniors.
