Teesside have confirmed six of their seven riders to try and take them back to the Ultimate League next season.
The UL KO Cup winners were relegated on the final day of the season, but they have wasted little time in tying down most of their squad.
Indeed, six of the riders are returning Teesside assets, and they have assembled a powerful looking side which will be captained by club legend Hans E Bergestol - who will start as a second-stringer.
At number one will be German star Hans Benkarth, who will be backed up by Australian ace Archie Sanders and England Under-21 star Lewie Carr.
Czech Jan Petrikova - who impressed during his short spell in the UL - will be back, whilst homegrown youngster Giles Hill returns to start at reserve.
Team boss Graeme Bailey explained: "We have a great rider base, so we used it - it took some persuading to get Hans, Archie and Lewie to drop down, they all had UL offers but they have come with us which shows great commitment.
"They form a fantastic heat-leading trio, and with Hans backing them up we think we have formed a strong side all with huge experience, and our side should be complete this week as we are in talks with a rider, who will be a popular signing."
As for other riders not included, that is Grand Prix star Jack Hagen and Belgian ace Louis Joossens, and Bailey added: "There is interest, and we will see how we go with those two riders - but they won't necessarily be sold, we don't need the money as have not spent anything on new signings."
